Kblue products


The heart of ETH home automation system is represented by the ETH-M88R/S master unit; this widget has three communication ports for system expansion.
The primary port allows the connection to an Ethernet network that represents the main communication bus; moreover, through this network, all master units are connected to each other, along with any control PC, digital video recorders, IP cameras, internet routers etc. Connection may also be achieved by other means, thus allowing for less invasive solutions, such as Wi-Fi.

A second communication port allows system expansion through:
  • I/O expansion modules
  • temperature, moisture and light sensors
  • infrared transmitters/receivers and badge readers
  • multifunction keyboards
  • load shedding units and DALI interfaces
  • other KBLUE products


The third communication port (RS485) allows connection to the ETH-AL01 alarm system: this makes it possible to use, for example, volumetric sensors to trigger off the automatic switching of the lights. This communication port is also used for serial connection to third-party devices using the ModBus protocol. The system can also be connected, through the PC interface, to multiroom audio/video systems, DMX controllers, biometric fingerprint readers and much more.
